What is aggravated burglary? There are really three types of burglary, aggravated burglary is the most serious. Aggravated burglary is the entering of habitation, someone's home, someone's condo, someone's apartment and with the intent to commit a felony. So if you break in to someone's home then that is an aggravated burglary. And you don't even have to break in, if you have some sort of tool or device that makes it in the slightest intrusion possible is enough to figure an aggravated burglary. An aggravated burglary is a class C felony, which carries a full range of punishment of three to 15 years in jail.
